It's Pennsylvania Wine Month!

Hey ISEPTAPHILLYers, did you know that October is Pennsylvania Wine Month? Well, now you do! There are over 200 wineries and vineyards in the Keystone State, so celebrating is easy. And the best part is, you won’t even need to find a designated driver to go wine tasting. We found a few PA wineries you can reach on SEPTA!

Boyd’s Cardinal Hollow Winery is located in West Point, PA. Boyd’s tasting room is open Monday to Saturday and offers 25 different varietes of wine for guests to sample. Get there on SEPTA by taking the Lansdale/Doylestown Line to Ambler Station. From the station, it is a less than 15 minute Uber or Lyft ride ($11-15) to Boyd's.

The stunning Rose Bank Winery in Newtown, PA is a popular destination for weddings and other occasions. Rose Bank has three different party venues and a beautiful vineyard on its large property. In addition to hosting special events, Rose Bank Winery’s tasting room is open to visitors from Thursday through Sunday. On Saturdays at 1:00pm, the winery gives free tours. To get to Rose Bank, take the West Trenton Line to Langhorne Station. From the station, it is a 15 minute Uber or Lyft ride there.

Stone & Key Cellars is located in Montgomeryville, PA. Wine and cider tastings are offered daily to guests. In addition, Stone & Key hosts special events such as concerts and trivia nights throughout the year. To get to Stone & Key cellars, hop the Lansdale/Doylestown Line to Lansdale Station and take the short Uber or Lyft from there.
