Route of the Week - 128

January 9, 2017

This week, we’ll be exploring SEPTA’s Route 128! The Route 128 is Suburban Division Bus Route that travels between two malls – the Neshaminy Mall and the Oxford Valley Mall. The Route 128 serves the suburban areas of Bristol, Levittown, and Bensalem in Bucks Country.

On a typical weekday, the Route 128 carries 449 passengers and makes 21 trips from 6:00am to 9:00pm. While it does run from 6:00am to 8:00pm on Saturdays, the Route 128 does not operate on Sundays. This Route began service on July 1, 1977 and was originally called the Route 152. On November 14, 1983, service restructured and redesignated the Route 128.

The Route 128 connects with the Trenton Regional Rail Line at Levittown Station, along with SEPTA Bus Route 127. As it runs between Oxford Valley Mall and Neshaminy Mall, the Route 128 is a great route to hop on if you are going out for a day of shopping. The Route 128 also passes Parx Casino. Parx Casino. located in Bensalem, is the largest casino and racetrack in Pennsylvania and features 24 hour gaming, restaurants, entertainment, and dining.

Wherever you're headed in Bucks County, whether work, school, or a day of fun, hop the Route 128 and let SEPTA do the driving!
