Route of the Week - 95

June 19, 2017

This week’s Route of the Week is the Route 95! The Route 95 is a Suburban Bus Route that operates between Gulph Mills and Willow Grove Park Mall. On its 26.2-mile route, the Route 95 serves Swedeland, Conshohocken, Plymouth Meeting, and Ambler. On a typical weekday, this route carries 582 passengers and travels 1,965 miles. The Route 95 makes 39 trips each weekday, 26 trips on Saturdays, but does not run on Sundays.

The Route 95 was established on March 7, 1977, as one of SEPTA’s original Frontier bus routes. Service operated between King of Prussia Mall and Plymouth Meeting Mall. On December 16, 1996, service to King of Prussia on the Route 95 was eliminated. Almost 15 years later on October 30, 2011, service was extended to the Willow Grove Mall.

As it services both the Willow Grove Park and Plymouth Meeting malls, the Route 95 is a great route to hop for mall employees and shoppers alike. At Willow Grove Mall, the Route 95 connects with Routes 22, 55, 310, and 311. At Plymouth Meeting Mall, it connects with Routes 27, 90, 98, 150, and L. The Route 95 also services Temple University Ambler, making it a great option for students, professors, and faculty.

Whether you're headed to class, work, or just out to do some shopping, hop the Route 95 and let SEPTA do the driving!
