The National Dog Show Charity Walk

September 14, 2018

Are you ready for a barking good time? Philadelphia’s National Dog Show Month will kick off on Sunday, October 14 at 9am with the National Dog Show Charity Walk at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne. This year’s walk keeps in tradition with its ties to the Philadelphia community. 95.7 BEN FM radio personalities Matt Cord and Kristen Hermann will host the Charity Walk. Dog show expert and TV personality David Frei will also make a special appearance. The walk benefits many local charities such as Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, Morris Animal Refuge, PennVet Charitable Care Fund, Canine Partners For Life, Lilo’s Promise Animal Rescue, New Leash on Life USA, SNAP (Students Need an Alternative Party), a parent-run organization that raises funds to hold an alternative post-prom activity for the Spring-Ford School District, and the Spring-Ford Music Association.

This event is loaded with fun activities for families and canines alike! Families can enter their canine companions in dog costume and best dog trick contests and raffles. There will be a police dog demonstration, a service dog demonstration and an open agility course so every dog can be a star.
