SEPTA Ready for Philadelphia Flower Show

SEPTA is reminding Philadelphia Flower Show fans that public transportation [aka SEPTA] offers convenient travel to the region’s most anticipated gardening attraction – without the hassles of traffic and parking.

The Philadelphia Flower Show starts Saturday, June 5, 2021 and runs through Sunday, June 13, 2021 at FDR Park in South Philadelphia.

The event site is just a short walk from the NRG Station on the Broad Street Line.

The Broad Street Line connects to other services throughout the city and region.

Below are some travel tips for riders to keep in mind as they plan for the big event:

Frequent Service on the Broad Street Line:

On weekdays, service runs every eight minutes or less from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and 10 minutes or less until 8:30 p.m.

On weekends, trains operate every 10 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Local and Express trips are available.

Regional Rail:

Visitors traveling via Regional Rail can connect to the Broad Street Line from Fern Rock, Suburban and Jefferson Stations.

Special weekend schedules with hourly service will be in effect on the Paoli & Doylestown Lines on Saturdays and Sundays, June 5-6 and June 12-13.

Market Frankford Line and Trolleys:

A free and convenient transfer to the Broad Street Line is available at 15th Street Station.

Follow the signs for the City Hall Station and take the Broad Street Line south to NRG Station.

Bus Connections:

The Route 17 Bus stops one block from the Show entrance at 20th and Pattison Streets.

There are numerous bus route connections with the Broad Street Line.
