Route 49 is a bus routs.
Route 49 begins at 29th & Snyder Streets in South Philly. It runs north on a number of streets including 29th and runs east for some time on Market Street in University City and Center City - stopping at 30th Street Station. It eventually reaches its terminus in Strawberry Mansion - at 33rd and Dauphin Streets.
The Route 49 is celebrating a major milestone this week! 2/24 is its 3rd birthday! In that time, become an important fixture in University City. It also has stops in the neighborhoods of Brewerytown, Fairmount, Spring Garden, Logan Square, and Grays Ferry.
At 30th Street Station, you can connect to 30th Street Station: Amtrak, NJ Transit, Regional Rail, Market-Frankford Line, and Bus Routes 9, 30, 31, 44, 62, 124, and LUCY, as well as Trolley Routes 10, 11, 13, 34, and 36.
