November 18, 2019

SEPTA’s “Music & Moves” program returns on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 with a performance by the world-renowned UniverSoul Circus, together with local community-based group, Great on Skates.

The UniverSoul Circus was established in 1994 by Cedric Walker, an African American man who had a vision of creating a circus with a large percentage of people of color performing. UniverSoul Circus is a highly interactive combination of circus arts, theater, and music. It embraces and celebrates the unique and familiar aspects of urban pop culture globally by bringing them center stage with a cast of international performers that reflect the cultural diversity of the world. Check it out now thru December 8, 2019 in Fairmount Park at 52nd & Parkside Ave (inside the heated Big Top)!

Great on Skates is an all-around skate community in Philadelphia. They incorporate dance with skating, as well as, spinning, tricks, fast backwards, train and trios and more. They have performed in big festivals, hosted skate events, and participated in theatre projects. They also offer classes in the Philadelphia area.

On Tuesday, 11/19, see performers from UniverSoul Circus and local members of Great on Skates perform TOGETHER LIVE at Walnut-Locust Station (Broad Street Line) from 3p-4p!
