Fly Eagles Fly 🦅

Lincoln Financial Field

The Philadelphia Eagles are back at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, 10/1 at 1:00PM for their game against the Commanders. Going? Best way from home to home field is the SEPTA Broad Street Line. Ride it south to NRG Station (last stop). Ride HOME FREE thanks to our partners at Unibet. Free rides begin at half time and run for two hours post game or until last train.

Flyers

Wells Fargo Center

The Flyers take on the Devils on Saturday, the Bruins on Monday, and the Islanders on Thursday at the Wells Fargo Center. Best way there is the Broad Street Line. Hop it south to NRG Station - last stop.

Arts Montco Week & Jazz Festival

Montgomery County

Dozens of arts organizations and cultural venues across Montgomery County celebrate Arts Montco Week thru 10/1 with a bevy of performances, exhibits and special programs (many free and occurring daily). During the 12-day celebration, Montco Jazz Fest returns with shows highlighting local musicians and the county’s diverse jazz scene. Some of the many events this week include toe-tapping performances by Rhiannon Giddens (Tuesday) and Tangerine Dream (Wednesday) at the Keswick Theatre, and the festival-within-a-festival Souderton Art Jam (Saturday). Plan your trip here!

Parks on Tap

Strawberry Mansion Bridge

The last event in this roving beer garden series brings brews and bites to Strawberry Mansion Bridge from Wednesday through Sunday. Enjoy draft beers from Mainstay Independent Brewing, cocktails, finger foods and sandwiches, and stellar views of the Schuylkill River. The taps flow from 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Get there on SEPTA! Routes Routes 32, 49, and 54 get you there!



Friday Under the Stars & Stripes Movie Series

Betsy Ross House

The Betsy Ross House kicks off outdoor movie season with the return of its annual film series highlighting gems of the so-bad-it’s-good sci-fi genre. Tickets are required. Bring your own snacks and drinks, and plan to arrive early to snag a table. Additional screenings are scheduled for the first Friday of each month through October. Short walk from 2nd Street Station on the Market-Frankford Line or hop Routes 17, 33 or 48.

Southeast Asian Market

FDR Park

Come hungry to this lively community market highlighting Southeast Asian cultures and cuisines. Pick produce, sample spices and enjoy prepared meals from more than 60 Lao, Khmer, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian vendors. The market sets up shop from 10AM to 6PM every Saturday and Sunday through the fall and will soon have a permanent home inside the park. Get here on SEPTA. Staying Power: Be Distinct or Go Extinct

Philadelphia Zoo

This brand-new exhibit at the Philadelphia Zoo - open from 4/1 thru 10/1 - features 25 gigantic animatronic insects and dinosaurs, offering visitors a chance to examine the traits that allowed insects to survive long after their dinosaur pals kicked the bucket. Keep an eye and an ear out as these life-sized dinosaurs and super-sized insects move and communicate with curious guests. Note: There is an additional charge to access the exhibit. Get there on SEPTA Routes 15 or 38. And don't forget - you've got Perks! Like $2 off admission to the Zoo when you flash your SEPTA Key card.

Collingswood Farmers Market

Collingswood

Collingswood Farmers Market is back for a stellar 23rd season. The market is open on Saturdays from 8AM to 12PM. Make a SEPTA to PATCO connection. Hop the Market-Frankford Line to 8th & Market to connect to PATCO or the Broad Street Line Walnut-Locust for the PATCO stop at 15th & Locust. Head over to Ambler for the Farmers Market! Ambler Farmers Market will be open every Saturday thru November. Customers can shop a wide variety of produce from 9AM to 12PM. To get here on SEPTA, ride the Lansdale/Doylestown Line to Ambler Station or hop Routes 94 or 95.

Clark Park Farmers Market

West Philadelphia

Clark Park is home to one of the largest and most well-populated farmers markets in Philadelphia, and boasts over a dozen vendors manning tables piled high with organic fruits, heirloom vegetables, milk, eggs, cheeses, meats and more. It's open year-round on Saturdays from 10AM to 2PM. Get there on SEPTA. Routes 13, 30 & 34 drop you right there!

Northern Liberties Farmers Market

Northern Liberties

A collaboration with The Piazza and the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, this weekly yearlong farmers market - open every Saturday from 10AM to 2PM beginning June 3rd - will feature over a dozen vendors including fruit and vegetable farmers, dairy purveyors, chocolate makers, hyper-locally brewed beer and more.

Every Saturday and Sunday - 9/2 thru 10/1 - celebrate summer with local vendors at an outdoor market place in Dilworth Park. A rotating lineup of Center City retailers, along with local small businesses and makers, pop-up weekly with a variety of offerings for all tastes. Collingswood Second Saturdays

Enjoy live music and art in Collingswood! Second Saturday was started by a collection of store owners that had an interest in promoting the arts in Collingswood. Now thru December visitors can plan a FREE night on the town to experience the unique arts, music, shopping and dining Collingswood is known for. Make a SEPTA to PATCO connection. Hop the Market-Frankford Line to 8th & Market to connect to PATCO or the Broad Street Line Walnut-Locust for the PATCO stop at 15th & Locust. Delco Arts Week

It’s all about the arts in Delaware County during this nine-day celebration full of exhibitions, performances and pop ups - from 9/30 thru 10/8. Noteworthy events include productions of Our Town at Colonial Playhouse (Friday and Saturday) and Fiddler on the Roof at The Players Club of Swarthmore (Saturday), a Fright Fest celebration of all-things gothic and macabre at Media Community Center (Saturday), and the Lansdowne Arts on the Avenue Festival (Sunday). Plan your trip here!

Garden Railway at Morris Arboretum

Morris Aboretum

The Garden Railway is celebrating 25 years with a new addition—300 feet of track! This is the largest expansion of the Garden Railway since it was installed in 1998. The new looping section of track extends the total model rail trackage to a third of a mile, making it one of the largest outdoor model train displays in the country. Get to Morris Arboretum on SEPTA. Ride the Chestnut Hill East or Chestnut Hill West Line to the last stop. From there hop the Route L or 97 toward Plymouth Meeting or Plymouth Meeting Mall to the Germantown Avenue & Northwestern Avenue stop. Walk down Northwestern Avenue for .5 miles past Chestnut Hill College and the apartment complex until you come to the black wrought-iron gate of the Arboretum. Best part - "walking in" saves you 50% on admission!

Citizens Bank Park

The Phillies will begin their playoff run this Tuesday, Wednesday, and [if necessary] Thursday - times and opponent TBD! Best way to Citizens Bank Park to cheer on the home team is the Broad Street Line. Out & About in MNYK

Manayunk

Manayunk is excited to be bringing back Out & About in MNYK to Main Street today thru 10/1! In honor of National Coming Out Day in October, Out & About in MNYK will host LGBTQ+ organizations and entertainment to promote Manayunk as a safe place that welcomes everyone. Take SEPTA's Manayunk/Norristown Line or Norristown High Speed Line to Norristown Transportation Center. From there, Bus Routes 90, 96, and 98 get you within walking distance.

Scarecrows in the Village

Peddler's Village

Now thru 10/29 - Get a jump on (slightly) spooky season at the charming Peddler’s Village, located about a 45-minute drive north from Center City Philadelphia. For eight weeks each autumn - more than 100 handmade scarecrows (ranging from silly to scary) pop up all over the village as part of an annual competition among local residents and organizations. To get here on SEPTA, ride the Lansdale-Doylestown Line to Doylestown. From there make a SEPTA to Uber or Lyft connection to Peddler's Village.
