Last month was World Environment Day and to celebrate - we wanted to highlight our wonderful entries from our Draw Attention 🌎 contest!
June 5 is celebrated as World Environment Day - a day set aside to encourage awareness and action to protect the natural environment. It also DRAWS attention to environmental issues such as marine pollution, air pollution, deforestation, and wildlife crime such as poaching.
To celebrate - we invited riders of all ages to DRAW (or paint or create) a picture to raise awareness and/or to promote ways to protect the world in which we live for a chance to win a family four pack to the Elmwood Park Zoo.
We received 27 valid entries of drawing that wonderfully promoted and displayed the many ways riding SEPTA helps the environment.
