Citizens Bank Park

Citizens Bank Park is the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, the city's Major League Baseball franchise. It also plays host to many concerts and community events throughout the year.

How to get there

Located in South Philadelphia - Citizens Bank Park is steps away from NRG Station [last stop] on the Broad Street Line. Bus Routes 4 & 17 can also get you there.

So - if you’re heading down to the stadium this season we say leave the car at home and the driving to SEPTA! Not only will you avoid traffic on Broad Street, I95, the Schuylkill Expressway - you will literally save money!

Trains run every 8 to 10 minutes. It takes about 11 minutes to travel from City Hall to NRG Station on a local train. Click here for Sports Express info. Immediately following the end of the game - fans can find northbound trains waiting to provide local and express service back towards Center City and Fern Rock Transportation Center.

ICYMI SEPTA customers can tap their contactless credit card, debit card, smart phone or watch to ride SEPTA buses, trolleys, and subways. Regional Rail will follow in Summer 2024. And SEPTA Key's new multi-rider feature lets you bring your plus one (or four!) along for the ride! Call 1-855-567-3782 or visit to activate!

If you're coming from New Jersey, it's easy to transfer from PATCO to the Broad Street Line. Exit PATCO at 13th/Locust Street Station. Take the escalator or stairs to concourse level and exit PATCO's fare gates. Follow the orange signs approximately one block through the concourse to the Broad Street Line at Walnut/Locust.

There are many ways to get here on SEPTA, there are also many ways to pay. Click here to learn which fare is best for you.

Your best bet is a SEPTA Key card. Available from SEPTA Sales Offices or from Fare Kiosks located in all Broad Street and Market-Frankford Line Stations. The SEPTA Key Travel Wallet allows you to pay as you go and you'll receive a discount for each ride ($2 versus $2.50 cash) and up to two FREE TRANSFERS within two hours of your first trip. The Fare Kiosks accept cash, credit, debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.

A SEPTA Key card initially costs $4.95 but when you register the card at - $4.95 is added to the card's Travel Wallet which you can use for future rides or towards the purchase of another pass. You can register your SEPTA Key at this way if you lose it - you don't lose the value on the card. And while you're there, set up auto reload so your SEPTA Key is ready to go all season long! SEPTA Key's new multi-rider feature lets you bring your plus one (or four!) along for the ride! Call 1-855-567-3782 or visit to activate!

No Key card - no problem! Tap your contactless credit card, debit card, smart phone or watch to ride SEPTA buses, trolleys, and subways. Regional Rail will follow in Summer 2024. Best part about contactless - it gives you the same benefits a SEPTA Key card ($2 fare plus up to two free transfers).

If you're traveling "old school" - one way fare on a bus and on the Broad Street Line is $2.50 cash. You must have exact change if paying the operator or cashier. They cannot make change. You can also purchase a Quick Trip from a Fare Kiosk. OR use a credit or debit card to download a QR-code “ticket” - aka SEPTA Key Tix - that can be read at fareboxes and turnstiles.

Connecting from Regional Rail? Paper One Day Independence Passes are no longer available for purchase. You can add a One Day FleX Pass to your SEPTA Key card. You can do this at a Regional Rail Station Fare Kiosk (you'll find these at Jefferson Station, William H. Gray III 30th Street Station, Suburban Station, Temple University Station, Penn Medicine Station, and at Philadelphia International Airport), SEPTA Transit/Regional Rail Sales or Ticket Window, or online at
