East Falls

East Falls is a neighborhood in the Northwest section of Philadelphia. It's home to dozens of stores and restaurants as well as the historic Laurel Hill Cemetery. Two dozen sites in East Falls are recognized historic sites - appearing in the National or Register of Historic Places, or having a Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission marker. 

It's also a stop on the Manayunk/Norristown Line - making it an easy commute to Center City. East Falls is best known as the childhood home of Grace Kelly - actress and Princess of Monaco - who grew up at 3901 Henry Avenue!

Things To Do

Located on the banks of the Schuylkill River and next to Fairmount Park, East Falls provides year-round access to walking, jogging, and cycling trails. Street fairs, community clean-up days, a robust Community Association, and numerous volunteer opportunities typify life in East Falls. The Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Center offers instruction to Philadelphia youth in a 9.2-acre sixteen-court facility.

Thomas Jefferson University's East Falls Campus is less than a mile [and an easy walk from East Falls Station.
